The document (Reg. No. 4401) stipulates address the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council of Ukraine, the National Commission for the State Regulation of Communications and Informatization, the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Antimonopoly Committee to urgently hold events that should give a clear answer to the question on whether the process of switching from analogue to digital broadcasting within the legal framework of Ukraine has completed, whether state authorities and economic entities met requirements of the law during the process of creating nationwide network of digital ground-based broadcasting, etc.
As it was mentioned during the meeting, adoption of the resolution “is conditioned by the necessity to ensure informational security, which is one of the most important functions of the state.”
